Good surveyors can save you a fortune on repair bills after you have moved home. If a surveyor fails to spot repair work you will need to foot the repair bill then prove that the surveyor was at fault for not spotting the problem. Speak to your solicitor who should be able to recommend a good surveyor or they may even have their own surveyor that they deal with exclusively.
