The cheapest way to sell your home is by using a company like KA Homes to market your property while taking the calls yourself. If however, you want to spend thousands of pounds for an advertising service then Estate Agents will do. They will market your home on the internet and in the local newspaper (for an additional fee) then charge anything from 1-3% commission + VAT for the privilege. All good estate agents should give you assurances of exactly what they will charge before you sign up.
